Being the massive fan of simplicity and minimalism within branding that I am, naturally Modulab‘s work on the Athena Procopiou branding caught my eye. It’s for that reason I feel it deserves January’s brand Branding of the Month award on Logoholic.
Athena Procopiou is an established luxury womenswear brand producing scarves and cover-up with a focus on inspired intricate prints. Her Scarves are stock in a number of the world’s best stores such as Harrods, Barney’s and Galeries Lafayette.
The stationery and business cards above showcase a beautiful example of minimalism within the brand. With regards to ‘feminine clothing brands’ it fits the expectation in my mind, really pushing the elegant, classic feel from the clothing to the tangible brand media. The overall black and white is a nice contrast to the actual style of the clothes on the site, which in general, are un-organized, abstract and vividly colourful. This juxtaposition works well, certainly worth checking out the site for more imagery.
